Each student is allotted to a faculty member who is vested with their steady development. Students are encouraged to speak their minds on every subject even those unconnected with academics.
The years of experience that the faculty members have had are passed down by this interaction. The management monitors the progress of each student through these faculty guides. In this systematic manner, the faculty members ensure that the objectives of the institution are achieved. The marks scored by the students, the laurels they achieve on various fronts and the feedback received directly from students speak eloquent on the success of the one-to-one interaction plan.
With a view of giving students a perspective that far exceeds the scope of their textbooks, students are made to participate in various co-curricular programmes. This involves inviting top academicians and professionals in various branches of engineering and management to visit the college and engage the students in interactive sessions. It has been observed that students invariably enjoy the non-conventional mode of learning and participate with great gusto. As a result of these sessions, students gain new insight not only into their subjects but on various aspects that relate to their respective course of study.
Those students who put in the extra effort required to score ranks are recognised and awarded. Those who secure top ranks and distinctions in University Examinations are awarded gold medals and cash prizes. A spirit of healthy competition is promoted amongst the students and these awards and incentive for students to constantly strive harder.
INSTITUTION-INDUSTRY INTERACTION CELL
This Cell arranges for close interaction between large industrial houses and students of the college. It provides opportunities for students to acquire first-hand knowledge of industrial practice and also give them exposure for the managements to consider them for employment.
The Indian Society for Technical Education has set up a chapter in association with the college. Through this the institution is able to derive significant advantage in the advancement of its academic standards in technical education.
