Programme : Workshop on “Entrepreneurship Orientation Program” (EOP) By National Small Industries Corporation Ltd., (NSIC) A GOVERNMENT OF INDIA ENTERPRISES. National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) is Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises. Since its establishment in 1955, NSIC has been working to fulfill its mission of promoting and fostering the growth of Micro & Small Enterprises in the country. Name of the Guest Faculty: Mr. Rengaswamy Swaminathan - NSIC No. of Students: 250 Year : Final Year – TEC – ECE, CSE, IT, EEE, EIE & Civil Venue: TEC - Auditorium The session started with Invocation, welcoming and introducing the Guest followed by the Presentation on Starting a business. NSIC has been working to fulfill its mission of promoting and fostering the growth of Micro & Small Enterprises in the country. Creating self-employment opportunities by imparting training in entrepreneurship building and skill development to unemployed persons who intend to set up their small enterprises or seek employment opportunities. NSIC provides an opportunity to first generation entrepreneurs to acquire skill on basic technical trades and gain exposure in all areas of business operations such as business skills development, identification of appropriate technology.
