73rd Independence Day celebration with Tree Plantations

The 73rd Independence Day celebration was celebrated in Thangavelu Engineering College, Karapakkamin a grand manner. The Principal of the college Dr. M. Venkatesan hoisted the national flag. Sweets were distributed to the students. Students had taken Pledge on this auspicious day and remembered about the dedication of the Patriots, Cultural festivals like Patriotic songs and Dances were organised. “ The role of youth in the Development of nation” was the title of the Elocution Competition. Students participated and awarded with prizes. As instructed by AICTE the students were motivated for the saplings of trees. The saplings of trees was inaguarated by chairman Thiru. K.V. Thangkabalu. The Students, participated in many numbers along with faculty and concern department HOD’S.
